For students of photography, coming across someone with a camera taking a picture of a pool of water, is so ‘uncool’, however, some of the greatest street photos have come through reflections off water glass or something shiny, so the technique should not be so easily dismissed.

Remember when taking the photo to try and get a storyline in. A flag is fine, but try and merge it with a bar of a particular nationality or maybe a piece of fashion with a monument. If you are leaving home on a wet day make sure you keep an extra dry plastic bag with you for all things electrical if your jacket bag or umbrella fail.
